Privacy Policy
How Futures Calculator processes technical data, browser preferences and Yandex Metrica analytics.
1. Scope
This policy explains how information is processed when you use futures-calculator.com (the Site). It applies to the Site itself and not to third-party websites linked from its pages.
The Site is an informational calculator service. It does not require an account and does not intentionally ask for your name, phone number, payment details or trading account credentials.
2. Information processed
The following categories of information may be processed when you visit or use the Site:
- Technical request and security data, such as IP address, date and time, requested URL (including its query string), referrer, browser and operating-system information, HTTP status and diagnostic records.
- Browser preferences needed for the interface: selected language in the NEXT_LOCALE cookie, and theme, accent colour and currency in localStorage.
- Calculator values are calculated in your browser and are not intentionally submitted to the Site's server. Non-default values may be placed in the page URL so that a calculation can be shared; that complete URL can then appear in server logs or analytics. Do not put personal information in a calculator URL.
- If Yandex Metrica is enabled, visit source, viewed pages, approximate location, device and browser characteristics, link and click activity, browser identifiers and related analytics data.
- Your email address, message and any information you choose to provide when you contact the privacy address below.
3. Purposes and grounds
Information is processed to deliver the requested pages and calculator functions, remember interface preferences, maintain security, diagnose failures, prevent abuse, understand aggregate use and improve the Site.
The Site relies, where permitted by applicable law, on providing functionality requested by the user and on the operator's legitimate interests in operating, securing and improving the service. Other grounds required by applicable law continue to apply where relevant.
4. Yandex Metrica
When a Yandex Metrica counter ID is configured, the Site loads the analytics tag provided by Yandex LLC. The current configuration enables link tracking, click maps and accurate bounce measurement. Session Replay (Webvisor) is disabled.
Yandex Metrica may use cookies, localStorage and other browser identifiers. Yandex processes the information under its own terms and privacy policy. You can limit this processing with browser controls, content blockers or Yandex's opt-out extension.
5. Recipients and transfers
Technical information may be processed by infrastructure and hosting providers that support delivery and security of the Site. Analytics information is sent to Yandex when the counter is enabled. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
Providers may process information in countries other than your own. Their handling of information is governed by their terms, applicable law and any safeguards required for the relevant transfer.
The Site does not sell personal information and does not use it to make lending, employment or similarly significant automated decisions.
6. Retention
Technical records are retained only for as long as reasonably needed for operation, security and troubleshooting, subject to infrastructure settings and legal obligations. Correspondence is kept while a request is handled and for a reasonable period needed to document the response.
The language cookie may remain for up to one year. Local interface preferences remain until you clear site data in your browser. Yandex determines the lifetime of its cookies and analytics records under its documentation and the counter settings.
7. Your choices and rights
You can delete or block cookies and localStorage through your browser. Doing so may reset language, theme, accent colour and currency preferences. You can also block Yandex Metrica using browser privacy controls or the opt-out link above.
Depending on applicable law, you may request information about processing, access, correction, deletion, restriction or objection, and may lodge a complaint with the competent data-protection authority. Send requests to the privacy contact shown on this page. We may ask for information necessary to verify and fulfil a request.
8. Security, children and changes
Reasonable technical and organisational measures are used to protect information, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
The Site is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from children. A parent or guardian who believes a child has supplied personal information can contact the operator to request its removal.
This policy may be updated when the Site, providers or legal requirements change. The current version and its revision date are always published on this page.
