MEXC Liquidation Calculator
BTC_USDT · Parameters checked: 2026-11-02
MEXC BTC_USDT, one isolated position with auto-margin addition disabled. Enter BTC quantity in steps of 0.0001 BTC and position margin after paid costs. Risk tiers use BTC quantity; maintenance uses entry value. Enter a separate USDT reserve for expected liquidation fees and funding. Zero excludes those future costs. The model conservatively caps leverage at 200× using the API's country/regular cap; your account may have a lower limit.

Liquidation price on MEXC
This MEXC liquidation calculator estimates the fair-price threshold for one isolated BTC_USDT position. Enter entry price, BTC quantity, position margin after paid costs and a separate USDT reserve for future costs.
How to calculate a MEXC liquidation price
Maintenance H = entry price E × BTC quantity q × the selected tier rate m. With position margin M and cash reserve R, the threshold satisfies M + d × q × (P − E) = H + R, where d is +1 for long and −1 for short. Long: P = E − (M − H − R)/q. Short: P = E + (M − H − R)/q. Maintenance uses entry value, not value at the calculated liquidation price.
BTC long and short example
At entry 60,000 USDT, size 0.5 BTC and margin 3,000 USDT, the first tier gives maintenance of 60,000 × 0.5 × 0.1% = 30 USDT. With no additional reserve, the long threshold is 54,060 and the short threshold is 65,940 USDT. A 12 USDT reserve moves them toward entry, to 54,084 and 65,916 USDT. These are conditional thresholds; zero reserve excludes future fees and funding.
The risk tier follows BTC quantity
One BTC_USDT contract is 0.0001 BTC. The six snapshot tier limits are 12, 31, 48, 280, 1,750 and 1,900 BTC. The selected rate applies to the entire position, without a maintenance deduction. Exactly 12 BTC belongs to the first tier; 12.0001 belongs to the second. This model conservatively limits leverage to 200× from the API's regional and regular caps, even though the global first-tier table lists 500×. Check the actual cap available to your account.
Fees, funding and model limits
Deduct already-paid costs from the margin you enter. Put expected future costs in the separate USDT reserve. The API snapshot lists a 0.04% liquidation fee and a 0.02% regular taker fee; these are different rates. No percentage is automatically converted into cash here: the fee basis must match your contract and account. Cross margin, other positions, automatic margin additions, open orders and parameter changes after the snapshot date are excluded.
FAQ
Which price triggers MEXC liquidation?
MEXC uses fair price, which can differ from the last traded price. The calculated threshold does not guarantee an exit fill or full closure; partial liquidation can occur.
Can I enter my entire cross-margin balance?
No. Enter the margin assigned to one isolated position. Cross margin requires other positions, orders and shared equity that this model does not calculate.
Why can a heavily collateralized long have no liquidation price?
Under these assumptions, margin can cover a fall to zero together with maintenance and the reserve. That does not extend to other positions or future cost changes. Use the stop-loss calculator to plan an ordinary exit.
